172. Going Behind the Scenes on Our Health and Partnerships

With this episode we are going to take you behind the scenes. We usually do this type of thing over on Patreon but we know many of you are interested in more episodes where we are just being ourselves and talking about what we are going through. We would love to hear what you think about this type of episode and if you’d like to hear more like it.

We go through what it is like for us to have different social needs than our partner. For Amy, it can be a struggle when she is more of a homebody and her spouse is more social. Or the opposite can be true as well. Abby tends to be more of a busy body and, at times, wishes her partner would have more real-life friends. Navigating these situations is tough and we chat about what works for us in these scenarios.

If you’ve been a long time listener then you know that we both have been going through our own health journeys. As we enter our mid-thirties, we are finding that this season of life can be challenging. Especially if you’ve had children. Both of us give you an update on where we are currently at and what tools we use to help us feel our best.

We are doing a book club this month, so if you aren’t a member of our Patreon community yet, be sure to head over there to join us for a monthly bonus episode and to participate in this month’s book, The Measure by Nikki Erlick.
